This ephemeral waterfall is located in Piopiotahi / Milford Sound, which fortunately for waterfall enthusiasts gets around 6,400mm of rain a year. Shot just before the boat drove under the falls (I got very wet, the camera got a little bit wet).

Kā Roimata o Hine Hukatere
Kā Roimata o Hine Hukatere / Franz Josef Glacier in New Zealand's South Island (the story behind the Māori name is much more interesting and worth a read). Shot from the valley floor on a lovely sunny day.

Red Light Views
Homer Tunnel is 1.2km long and was dug by hand. It has enabled visitors to drive to Piopiotahi / Milford Sound since 1954. During summer traffic lights operate and this was shot while waiting at a red light on the south side of the tunnel.

The water from Stirling Falls drops around 155m before hitting Piopiotahi / Milford Sound. This is three times the height of Niagara Falls. Shot from a proper touristy boat in the rain.

Te Ara Kairaumati
New Zealand's two highest mountains, Aoraki (Mt Cook, 3724m) and Horokoau (Mt Tasman, 3497m), are perfectly reflected in the dark waters of Te Ara Kairaumati / Lake Matheson. Shot before sunrise on a very still morning.

The Devil's Staircase
This particularly windy section of State Highway 6, as it passes Lake Wakatipu, is known as The Devil's Staircase. It is difficult trying not to write off your hire car while taking in the spectacular landscape. Shot from the top of a boulder.

I stitched five photos together to make this panorama (once I got the feeling back in my legs). Shot from Roys Peak, around 1,200m above Lake Wanaka.

Year One Exhibition
Work from my first year in photography was showcased in Melbourne during November 2016. The exhibition included 35 photos of incredible musicians from around Australia and overseas, and really captured the connection between these performers and their adoring fans. The remaining single edition photos in the exhibition are for sale, along with a book ($50, 8"x8" hardback) that includes all of the featured photos. Images are printed on Kodak Professional Endura Lustre Paper and come ready to hang, mounted on 10mm foam core with black edging.
