Welcome to gregholland.co, home of Melbourne-based photographer Greg Holland.
A late bloomer in photography, Greg bought his first interchangeable lens camera in 2015 before embarking on a European adventure. Newly inspired by his beautiful surroundings, he spent his trip experimenting with photography and after much travel and deliberation, finally bought a 35mm prime lens. The lens cost more than the camera, but he was hooked.
Greg’s professional photography career took off when his camera began accompanying him to frequent music gigs. Melbourne has a vibrant local music scene (the best in the world, apparently) and he was quickly picked up by local publications Speaker TV and Australian Music Scene to capture live shows.
Music photography was the feature of Greg's first showcase exhibition in November 2016. The exhibition included 35 photos of Australian and international musicians and explored the captured connection between performers and their adoring fans. Limited remaining single edition photos which featured in the exhibition are for sale on his shop, alongside the exhibition book.
Since those early days, Greg has pushed himself hard to build a striking and diverse photography portfolio that now includes weddings, portraiture and food & drink. He is also rapidly expanding his video portfolio, having produced content for musicians and small businesses over the past year.
Greg prides himself on his friendly and approachable manner and willingness to deliver high quality content for his clients. Get in touch if you wish to work with him with any of your future projects.
